The following office packages are available cheaper as part of the Office Back-to-School promotion:

  • Office Home and Student 2010 (Family Pack, 3 License)

  • Office for Mac University 2011

  • Office University 2010

Families and students can use the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the OneNote digital notebook for private use with "Office for Mac Home & Student 2011" or "Office Home and Student 2010". Home & Student's Extended Family Pack License allows you to install the Office Suite on up to three Mac or Windows PCs in the same household. "Office for Mac University 2011" and "Office University 2010" also includes Outlook. The discount promotion is now valid and runs until 14th September 2012.

However, students should definitely check whether their respective college has a "Campus Agreement" with a student option with Microsoft prior to making a purchase. In that case, they can get Office much cheaper.
